| Description | “Precision over politeness” does not mean we need to be rude to AI. It simply means that being friendly is not enough. AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini still need us to clearly explain what we want, who it is for, and what the finished result should look like. Using the CO-STAR framework, this session will show how vague requests can be improved by adding context, clear instructions, examples, and constraints. Through live demonstrations and prompt comparisons, participants will see how small but intentional changes can produce clearer and more useful responses. Rather than memorizing long prompts or searching for magic words, participants will practice prompting habits and reusable language patterns they can adapt to different tasks. Participants will also receive a resource file with helpful prompting terms, instruction starters, and examples for improving their own prompts. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
