| Description | Join us for an informative webinar introducing OTAN’s Self-Paced Accessibility Course, a flexible online learning experience designed to strengthen accessibility awareness and skills across California’s adult education community. This session will highlight the purpose of the course, walk you through its modules, and explain how it supports more inclusive digital learning environments for all learners. Accessibility is essential in serving our diverse adult education population. In this webinar, you’ll learn how the course helps educators, administrators, and staff understand why accessibility matters and how to apply foundational accessibility principles to common digital technologies—including HTML content, Microsoft documents, PDFs, and video. You’ll also learn how this openly licensed training, based on Western University’s CCBY shared course in Canvas Commons, provides a solid, research-based foundation for accessibility practices you can immediately apply in your program or classroom.
