In this session, participants will learn about the writing process with the aid of AI. They will discover how AI serves as a tool that students can use when producing authentic writing assignments.

Participants will understand that AI will not do the work for students. Instead, students must front-load 75-80% of the writing process to effectively use AI as a tool that helps them improve their own writing rather than replace it. The focus will be on using AI to enhance student-generated content, not to change or substitute the original writing that students produce.  This will be an interactive workshop and participants are encouraged to have a secondary device to use Nearpod to make this presentation more fun and engaging.
