Description | This engaging three-hour session designed specifically for adult educators navigating the evolving landscape of in-person, hybrid, and online instruction. This session blends Universal Design for Learning (UDL), learner motivation, and timesaving tools like AI to support diverse adult learners.
In Hour One, we’ll dive into an immersive UDL-based lesson tailored for adult education. You’ll experience station rotation using Choice Boards and Playlists, aligning with a CASAS competency and COAPPs, all while promoting equity, access, and inclusion.
Hour Two focuses on AI-powered planning strategies that support learner variability. Learn how to streamline prep while targeting key outcomes for your adult learners through the lens of ALVN (Adult Learner Variability Navigator) & Khanmigo.
In Hour Three, we’ll engage in a Socratic Seminar to collaboratively explore what truly motivates our adult learners—especially online. We’ll discuss practical strategies to increase engagement, reduce drop-off rates, and build a culture that keeps learners coming back.
Walk away with tools, strategies, and inspiration to create an inclusive, motivating classroom—no matter where your students log in.
