Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform used to review students' knowledge, for formative assessment or as a break from traditional classroom activities. While there are several premium subscription levels, the basic version of Kahoot! is free to use and works on nearly any smart device making it easy to access even on older computers, tablets, and smartphones.
Teachers can create and share learning games and quizzes within minutes and then monitor student progress after sharing the Kahoots they have created. Students, using almost any smart device, can play games individually, in teams, or for homework.
This hands-on workshop will explore using Kahoot! as a student, creating Kahoot games and quizzes as a teacher, as well as the features available in the various subscription levels.

2. Attendees should already have a free subscription to Kahoot! as a teacher before registering for this workshop
An OTAN Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to those that have pre-registered and attend at least 75% of the scheduled time.

The desired outcome of every OTAN workshop is that participants will have a working understanding of the application or topics discussed and modeled.
OTAN workshops may be requested, customized, and scheduled by qualifying adult education agencies for their staff as targeted professional development.
