Generative Artificial intelligence is transforming the way educators create engaging class activities and create instructional materials. In this interactive session, participants will learn practical ways to leverage AI for efficiency, creativity, and personalization in their teaching. The session will include an introduction to and practice using hands-on some of the countless education-specific AI tools for a variety of purposes:

  • generating reading passages and questions
  • creating interactive games for retrieval practice
  • making authentic practice activities for CASAS and EL Civics assessments
  • engaging students in personalized and memorable learning experiences

All registered participants are asked to bring a lesson plan or idea for one and a text or video (URL or file) that are part of the teaching/learning materials for the lesson. Note: If you have a Gmail account, that will speed up the registration process for the free resources that will be used.
