Description The California EL Civics Exchange, a joint project between CASAS and OTAN funded by the California Department of Education, is a new repository for original EL Civics instructional materials created by California WIOA, Title II: AEFLA/EL Civics agencies. Although these materials were created to relate to California’s EL Civics system, teachers in other regions can use these successfully for ESOL instruction. This presentation introduces participants to the organization of the EL Civics Exchange and gives information on how an agency can access and/or submit materials. Accessibility and licensing requirements are reviewed. Join us to learn more about this exciting new website!
