| Description | Artificial intelligence tools like Google Gemini are often introduced as productivity shortcuts, but their real value lies in how they help educators and learners think, communicate, and access information more effectively. This session invites participants to explore Google Gemini not as a lesson-planning machine, but as a practical tool for reducing barriers and building understanding. Through live demonstrations, participants will see Google Gemini in action and gain insight into how its multi-modal capabilities allow it to work with text, images, and other forms of input to support clarity, understanding, and access to information in different contexts. The focus remains on understanding the tool itself, with attention to its current strengths, limitations, and appropriate use alongside human judgment. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of Google Gemini’s strengths, realistic use cases beyond lesson planning, and practical ideas they can immediately adapt to their own instructional or support roles.
