Generative Artificial intelligence is transforming the way educators create instructional materials and engaging class activities. In this session, participants will learn practical ways to leverage AI tools for efficiency, creativity, and personalization in their teaching. The session will include a review of lesson planning and an introduction to and practice using some AI tools for a variety of potential creations:
 
  • Generating reading passages and questions
  • Creating interactive games for retrieval practice
  • Making authentic practice activities for CASAS and EL Civics assessments
  • Supporting students with employment readiness (resumes, cover letters, job interviews)
  • Engaging students in personalized and memorable learning experiences
