Description

This session is designed for school staff and educators of adults who are curious to understand and discuss the power of artificial intelligence (AI) in the adult education classroom and at the school site. As technology continues to enhance the education landscape, adult educators and staff need to explore and learn AI concepts as well as how to use AI safely in their own instructional and administrative practices.

Topics can include but are not limited to

  • What is AI? Including key concepts,
  • AI prompt engineering,
  • types of lessons that can be created by program area,
  • variety of ways that AI can be integrated into education,
  • and other topics as requested for an inservice PD. 
Prerequisites
  • All participants must have basic computer skills and a valid email address.
  • Additional requirements may apply depending on the topics requested for the session.

OTAN Certificates of Attendance are awarded only for workshop sessions to those that are pre-registered and attend at least 75% of the scheduled time.
