Description | Canvas is a web-based learning management system, or LMS. It is used by learning institutions, educators, and students to access and manage online course learning materials and communicate about skill development and learning achievement. The Canvas LMS includes a variety of customizable course creation and management tools, course and user analytics and statistics, and internal communication tools. This session will provide an introduction to Canvas assignments as well as information on building assignments and creating assignment groups. This flyer has more information about what will be covered in this session as well as additional resources that can be accessed on Canvas features. All are encouraged to register and participate in this session! Note: This series is designed for California adult education agencies who are participating in the California Distance Learning Cooperative (CDLC). Some system resources, products, and other services may not be available through other (non-CDLC) Canvas instances. *****
