As technology continues to enhance the education landscape, adult educators and staff need to explore and learn Artificial Intelligence concepts as well as how to use AI safely in their own instructional and administrative practices.

This online session was designed for Sierra Community College and Consortia staff and educators so that they may understand and discuss the power of AI in education.

Topics may include but are not limited to:

• defining AI in education including key concepts,
• basics prompt engineering,
• generative content creation (lesson plans, assessments, etc.),
• ways to integrate AI into education,
• ethical uses of AI for both instructor and student,
• how to use specific generative AI tools with practice time, and
• other related topics as requested.
