| Description | Come learn how NSCCC expanded dual enrollment (SB 554) to adult school students in ALL CAEP funded programs (beyond the HSD/HSE connection). We will discuss how our process continues to increase adult school transitions to college through strategies in: outreach/inreach, recruitment, onboarding, providing student support, eliciting feedback, facing challenges, and capturing data. Please come with your dual enrollment questions and experiences– we look forward to learning from everyone. Outcomes: Share the benefits and outcomes desired here. #1. Learn how we implement dual enrollment in action: best practices & areas of growth: Outreach/inreach strategies for informing students about dual enrollment opportunities. Onboarding: workshops to spreadsheets Providing student support: from embedded tutors to counseling appointments Eliciting feedback: who and when to survey facing challenges: different systems, different course schedules, changing personnel, tracking adult school students off the spreadsheets, etc. . .
